Scentsy Story

11 Years, Real Setbacks & Why I'm Still Here

11 years ago, a West Virginia girl married a soldier from Texas, packed up her Psychology degree, and said yes to something she had zero business experience for — and absolutely no idea would change her life.

That something was Scentsy.

I started because I needed something that was *mine*. When my husband was active duty military, Scentsy wasn't just a side income — it was my identity, my community, and my confidence all wrapped into one.

But over 11 years, life happened.

My husband transitioned out of the military into civilian life — a big shift for our whole family. I've lost team members I poured my heart into. I've earned my Director title and lost it. Twice. There have been real seasons of self-doubt where I genuinely asked myself: *Is this still worth it?*

I'm sharing that honestly because I think it matters.

Because the version of this story that only highlights the wins doesn't help anyone. And if you've ever felt like you're not cut out for this, or that you've already missed your chance, or that you've tried before and it didn't work — I want you to know I've been right there with you.

Here's what 11 years has taught me: **The women who win aren't the ones who never struggle. They're the ones who don't quit when it gets hard.**

I'm still here. Still showing up on social media, doing vendor events, sending samples to strangers who become customers who become friends. Still dreaming about the day I travel the world with my husband — Scentsy style.

A fresh start is always available. And sometimes all it takes is one small yes.

That was Scentsy for me 11 years ago. And honestly? It still is.

*Whether you're here for the products or something in you is quietly wondering "could I do this too" — both are welcome here. Always.* 🕯️
